Seminar at Künri 25.04.2026

Blessed Bonding, in collaboration with Künri, conducted a seminar on “Understanding Behavior from a Compassionate Lens: Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) & Autism” on 25th April 2026 at Künri. The initiative was aligned with the observance of Autism Acceptance and Awareness Month in April.

Künri—derived from the Rengma term meaning “hope”—is an early intervention center located in proximity to Dimapur Airport. The center specializes in multidisciplinary interventions for children presenting with developmental delays, offering structured therapeutic and educational services.

The primary objective of the seminar was to sensitize parents and educators to the principles and practical applications of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). ABA is an evidence-based intervention grounded in behavioral psychology that focuses on the systematic analysis and modification of observable behaviors.
The session emphasized how ABA methodologies can be utilized to enhance adaptive functioning, including life skills acquisition, communication, and social interaction competencies in children with developmental challenges.

During the seminar, Mrs. Beni Seb, Proprietor of Künri, highlighted the critical role of compassion-driven pedagogy in behavioral interventions. She underscored that ABA is not merely a therapeutic tool for children with developmental disorders but a generalized behavioral framework applicable across populations for goal-oriented behavior modification.

The seminar provided a structured understanding of how behavior is influenced by environmental contingencies and internal motivational states, thereby enabling participants to adopt more systematic, empathetic, and outcome-oriented approaches in both educational and care-giving contexts.
